Our fully bonded rubber technology (R-flex fullbond) has high-density rubber bonded to both the central shaft and the surrounding metal case, which may be galvanised upon request, creating a completely sealed unit. Loads are carried through the rubber itself, with no metal-to-metal contact, allowing the unit to absorb extreme torsional forces and shock loading. Because the assembly is sealed, there is no path for water, dust or debris to reach the working surfaces – which is why the technology is specified for the most arduous environments.
R-flex fullbond systems can be supplied with/without stub and hub (hub can be braked/unbraked using standard, auto-reverse, hydraulic or mechanical brakes), and in welded arm form for mounting directly into a chassis. Load deflection characteristics are engineered to your application.
