We design and manufacture axle assemblies, couplings, suspension units and trailer accessories, built around our R-flex high-density rubber suspension technology. Products can be supplied as standard items or engineered to your own specification.
An R-flex unit combines a damper, spring and bearing in a single assembly. High-density rubber elements sit between a central shaft and a metal case; as load is applied the rubber compresses within the casing to provide suspension, with no metal-to-metal contact inside the unit.
Insert units offer a basic, cost effective solution for simple, less arduous applications. Semi bonded units handle high demand applications in many environments thanks to their hard wearing, robust construction with minimal ingress. Fully bonded units deal with extreme torsional forces and loads in high demand environments, with a fully sealed construction and zero ingress.
Yes. Rather than adapting standard components, we look at the problem and the constraints a solution has to work within. We run a full 2D and 3D CAD platform that interfaces with almost all CAD formats, and our design team can work to your own specification or develop something bespoke with you.
No. R-flex units are completely maintenance free. There is no metal-to-metal contact within the unit, which also makes them silent in operation and gives a very long service life.
R-flex units can withstand temperatures from -40°C to +80°C. If your application falls outside that range, please talk to our sales team.
Yes. R-flex systems can be supplied with or without stub and hub, and the hub can be braked or unbraked using standard, auto-reverse, hydraulic or mechanical brakes.
We manufacture in the UK at Waterloo Industrial Estate, Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire. Being in the centre of the country, with good motorway links and nearby ports and airports, we are well placed to supply customers across the UK and overseas.
Call our sales team on +44 (0)1789 774 920 or email sales@peakdynamics.co.uk. It helps if you can tell us the load, the geometry you have to work within and the environment the unit will operate in – drawings are welcome, but a sketch and a description are enough to get started.
